Momma wanted me to take her car to go home from the Mall
We went to the Palm Beach Gardens Mall to pick up Nina's shoes. It is amazing that there is still a shoe repair shop still in business. I was shocked to find out that this shoe repair shop is one of just a few stores that were the original stores in the mall when it first opened.
Nina put new rubber on the end of the heels because they were very slick and she didn't want to take any chances of falling. They were brand new shoes but the prospect of falling down meant new heels put on.
After we got done with the shoe repair store called Heels and Hems (561-624-1721), we called Elena to see if she was done with work and asked if she wanted to meet up with us and have dinner at P.F. Chang’s (561-691-1610) at the Gardens Mall. She agreed and we met up with them at the Sony Style Store.
After getting back home we just remembered the coupon for FREE lettuce wraps at P.F. Chang's D'OH!!
More special things happened on this outing but that is a secret that will be later revealed!
Anyway, here is a photo out front of the entrance between P.F. Chang's (one of our favorite restaurants) and Brio.

Well after she was giving me trouble for coming to the mall with the car on empty, I took the mini van to get filled up to full. Then I went to take my mother home along with my boy, well wasn't I surprised to see her tank on empty! How do you like that!
Here is a shot of the tank of mommies car - flat empty. Can't believe she was going to let me take it and not tell me it was on empty. (Well, Elena just got home while I was writing this and she says it is NOT on empty, there is still a little line of red - you be the judge.)

So I called her and told her I ran out of gas. She took it hook, line, and sinker! She was telling the girls that the had to leave the mall to help daddy get gas for the car since he ran out of gas. I wish I could have gotten a little more milage from it but I had to tell her that I BARELY made it to the filling station and she got it.
I know that my father would NEVER let the car get less than 1/2 a tank. That was his thing, you never know what kind of traffic ecetera you could get involved with so you always need to keep your tank full.
