Just got back from PT where Hernan and I are recovering from our injuries. I tried the Aqua bed for the first time today and it was great! Anyway, Hernan and I were talking about learning computer technologies. I told him that if he didn't want to spend a lot of money and wanted to get some very good training for .net, to go to www.learnvisualstudio.net .

Well enough about the Aqua Bed, that will have to be another post. Believe me, it was great! I just need some kind of Aqua Chair that I can use while I am at the computer learning visual studio .net!!
I have recommended this to several people and all of them have been impressed with the extensive library of over 750 videos and a wide range of training provided. Hernan will be the first person without a programming background that I have recommended this to. Just look at this website! The lowest cost your looking at is OVER $6000!!! The online courses at Learn Visual Sudio .net are just as good, trust me I have attended instructor based classes at the university level and after school from a Microsoft Certified Trainer. These courses are just as good for a fraction of the cost and you will still get your Microsoft Certification. You will do this at your own pace and on your own schedule!
I recommend spending the money to get the lifetime membership. I have done this several years ago and they have honored this membership and continue to add new training videos and keep the site fresh. Whether your a seasoned software application development professional or someone that wants to learn visual studio .net, this is a good place to keep your skills up to date without spending a lot of dough.

Kirk, I just wanted to let you know that I too have used LearnVisualStudio.Net training videos and lessons. Specifically I tried the VB.net / ASP.net for beginners. I found them very helpful. The instructor (Bob Tabor in my case) was easy to listen to and follow. He really seems to know the subject matter very well.
I would definitely recommend purchasing the program to anyone who wants to dive right in and start learning Microsoft applications for a fraction of the normal cost.
