HALEAKALA SUMMIT, Maui (kirkf.com) – Ed and I went on our family vacation to Maui, HI. Besides snorkeling, hanging out on the beach, and eating, I wanted to stay in shape and thought about riding.
Most visitors ride Haleakala downhill but I thought it would be fun to try to ride my bike UP Haleakala.

We were wanting something to do that would be a bit out of the ordinary while we were on Maui. We completed a morning of snorkeling and a nice dinner at Mama’s Fish House the day before and driven up to the Haleakala summit and enjoyed all there was to do on the summit and some trails. We made the reservation at the Piiholo Ranch the day we drove to Hana through the Wailea Marriott Concierge.

OAHU, HAWAII – My initial contact with Ollie was an email and phone call. As most Hawaiians go, Ollie is as laid back as most. When I tried to get a specific date booked with him in June for my July trip to Hawaii to go for my first bonefish or o’io, as the Hawaiians call them, Ollie just wanted me to call him when we landed in Hawaii. I think I would still call Ollie and let him know you are coming, just to be safe.
For Spring Break Grandma took a trip to Naples to see her sister and brother-in-law. So we planned a trip to Naples during the same week so we could see Grandma.
We had the privalidge to visit the Edison and Ford Winter Estates on the way back home from Disney over New Years with Nina.
The Edison and Ford Winter Estates are tucked away in Fort Meyers overlooking the Caloosahatchee. To get the directions, visit www.efwefla.org/visitor.asp

I was able to use the Charcoal coupon. The clerk had to call a manager because he had never seen the coupon before. I bought the Ball Park Hotdogs for the extra item and the 13 pounds plus some oz. I would have to look at the coupon to know the exact size.

This is one of our families favorite movies to watch. We own it in DVD but will be getting the Blu ray soon.

While in Missouri Spring 2009, we spent some time in Southeast Missouri near Farmington. We found a place called Castor River Shut-ins.
